[09.09.2011] World Championship in Modern Pentathlon this year was held in Moscow, where Elena Rubļevska showed successful results. In Fencing E. Rubļevska won 1000 points and shared the 1st place with the Russian athlete, E. Greshicnikova. In total Elena Rubļevska won 5268 points and ranked in 14. place.
[21.08.2011] World Championship in Modern Pentathlon for youth in group A was held in Turkey, where Latvian sportsman Pavel vecovs was leading after first day of competition with excellent results in fencing and swimming. Unfortunately start in the combined discipline was unsuccessful and P.vecovs ranked 13. place in overall competition.
[21.07.2011] World Championship in Modern Pentathlon for military persons was held in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. Women's race Jeļena Rubļevska won 3rd place, earning 5288 points in total.
[15.07.2011] European Championship for youth in Group B was held on July 13 in Tata, Hungary. The new Latvian sportsman Nikita Bistrovs participated and get 37.place among 60 participants. Photos from competition are available in photo gallery.
[10.06.2011] The World Cup final in Modern Pentathlon took place in Britain, in which participant from Latvia Jelena Rubļevska get 10th place with 5148 points. The competition took place in the Crystal Palace in London / Greenwich Park area.
[01.07.2011.] Family of Latvian modern pentathlon celebrated 80 th birthday of A.E.Leja. Celebration took place in Dome Square Cafe "13.krēsli". Latvian Modern Pentathlon Federation thanks the former sportsman Vladimir Barsukam for support in organizing the anniversary!
